Our Exam will be in three parts:
- Social Studies
- Reading
- Writing
On December 17, 2019, there will be an exam evaluating Social Studies and Reading skills.
Social Studies
Be ready to answer questions that address the following ideas:
What were some of the causes and consequences of the fall of Rome?
How was the Roman era different from the Dark Ages period that followed it?
Identify significant people, events and developments of the Dark Ages
How were the perspectives of people in Dark Ages Europe different from our own?
What caused people's lifestyles and life expectancies to be different in the Dark Ages?
Reading
Be prepared to read some new texts and respond to them.
Review your short stories notes and concepts.
Writing
During the January exam period, students will be given a writing prompt and develop a personal response to showcase their written skills. Students will also complete a short section that reviews the grammar/mini-lessons covered this term.
